Service Description

Many of us find ourselves trapped in familiar patterns that no longer serve us, hindering our ability to cultivate healthy relationships, find fulfillment in work, and maintain positive self-esteem. I can help you to untangle the influence of past experiences on present-day struggles. Together, we can address issues such as self-criticism, over reactions or overthinking, emotional turmoil or numbness, self-sabotaging behaviors, challenges with life transitions, and painful memories from the past. My approach involves guiding clients through the processing of their past experiences, empowering them to develop healthier coping strategies. As a former teacher, I also have extensive experience working with adolescents experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, abuse, attachment concerns, anger, learning/attention issues, and family transitions. In my work with clients, I draw from approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness.
